A genuine R36, not a clone. The Arkos 2-toggle emulation station doesn’t emulate the correct files on the card, and the audio cable isn’t one of those flimsy, unscrewed ones that produce bad sound. It’s the 4-inch screen, by the way, if you’re asking about a file, and yes, the power light is green when it’s on, just like the newer version. I went through the buyer’s guide; this is indeed the Boyhom store, and I went through all the cloned listings and didn’t find any. The entire checklist is genuine, so this is their store to buy from. I have the translucent black and the translucent purple; both are genuine R36s, and I’m very happy with them for my kids.

I bought this because I saw it online, and I wanted something to play while traveling and in my free time. Being away from home, the games are a lot of fun and bring back many memories. The OS is very fast and the UI is easy to navigate. There are a few issues with some of the emulators, but they don’t work at all; they just don’t read the pre-loaded games. Some of the games are the Mandarin or Asian versions, so that’s about it. But most of them are in English or have the option to change the language. I would buy it again, and all my friends are very interested in getting one.

The only problem is that it doesn’t have all the Pokémon games that said it would have, but I guess I can fix that later. It fits perfectly, and I wish searching for games was a bit easier. Just stupid things like “Megaman” and “Mega man” give you two completely different search results.

Still my favorite color, the R36S. I bought a few of these from the BOYHOM store, and they’re all excellent! I highly recommend anyone wanting an R36S handheld to buy from this store! Shipping was fast; it took about two weeks to arrive here from China. I haven’t received a “clone” or a fake one yet. I’ve bought them for family and friends over the past couple of months, and they’re ALL still going strong. The original microSD card comes loaded with games—15,094 games in total on a 64GB microSD card. I think there was less than 1GB of free space on this 64GB model, and it was a really good, curated game list. Of course, I install my own SanDisk or Samsung microSD card for extra reliability and storage, and I also add my own games and media. No complaints about this console; I kept this one as my own personal R36S because I love the color! I will definitely buy more from this seller!
